The forceps are specifically designed to insert, open, securely close and remove the bag.
Disposable retrieval bag is tough, made of tear resistant, fluid impervious material.
It is tapered to prevent bunching of tissue and it can be used repeatedly in the same procedure.

Adding small offset slits in the collar of the bag allows the grasper to be inserted into the collar.
This permits unlimited opening and closing of the bag.
Many disposable laparoscopic retrieval bags can be closed once; then they must be discarded.
