Different sterilization methods are selected based on the different performances of endoscopic instruments and their components, as well as relevant information provided by the instrument manufacturer. ,
1. High-pressure steam sterilization: All endoscopic surgical instruments that can be autoclaved should be sterilized by high-pressure.
2. Ethylene oxide: Ethylene oxide has strong sterilizing power, widespread sterilization, does not damage items, and has strong penetrating power. It is not suitable to use high-pressure steam to sterilize endoscopic lenses, cameras, light source beams, electrocoagulation wires, etc. All can be sterilized by this method.
3. 2% glutaraldehyde soaking: used for immersion sterilization of endoscopic instruments. It needs to be soaked for 10 hours. During soaking, the joints of the instrument must be opened and the lumen must be filled with soaking fluid. The remaining medicinal solution must be rinsed repeatedly with sterile water before use.
4. Medical sterilizer sterilization.
