3. Contraindications
- Severe abdominal adhesions
- Hemodynamic instability
- Uncorrected coagulopathy.

 **4. Sterilization & Handling
- **Autoclave**: 135°C, 5-15 min (reusable instruments only).
- **Chemical Sterilization**: Soak in glutaraldehyde (≥20 min).
- **Do NOT** use ultrasonic cleaners on coated instruments.

### **5. Operation Steps**
1. Insert the Veress needle to establish pneumoperitoneum.
2. Place the trocar under endoscopic guidance.
3. Introduce instruments through trocars.
4. Perform surgery under video monitoring.
5. Withdraw instruments and close incisions.

### **6. Warnings**
- Inspect instruments for damage before use.
- Avoid excessive force to prevent breakage.
- Electrosurgical instruments must be properly grounded.

### **7. Maintenance**
- Clean with enzymatic detergent post-use.
- Lubricate movable parts with silicone oil.
- Store in a dry, dust-free environment.
