Laparoscopic Disposable Bipolar Forceps

Disposable Bipolar Forceps are intended for use in general surgical procedures. The device is connected through a suitable bipolar cable with the bipolar output of an electrosurgical generator. Coagulation is achieved using electrosurgical energy generated by the electrosurgical generator unit and activated by a footswitch.

The material is non-cytotoxic, non-irritating, non-allergenic and it has comfortable easy open and close handle.

Intended use

The bipolar forceps is designed to coagulate selected tissue in laparoscopic and gynecology. It is to be connected through a suitable bipolar cord with the bipolar output of an electrosurgical generator. Bipolar Forceps must only be used with bipolar coagulation current. The Bipolar Forceps has not been shown to be effective for tubal sterilization or tubal coagulation for sterilization procedures and should not be used for these procedures.

Instructions for Use

1) Inspect the device for any other defects. All the bipolar forceps must be inspected prior to use. PLEASE DO NOT USE IF THE PACKAGE IS DAMAGED.

2) Inspect the bipolar forceps for the proper connecting by the bipolar cord to the appropriate electrosurgical generator output.

3) Test the bipolar to ensure proper working condition.

4) Insert the bipolar through the trocar into the surgical site.

5) Please destroy the instrument by the regulation after use.
